Man trapped in vehicle after collision

At 12:20 on December 2, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on Heidelberg Road in City Deep, Johannesburg.
Reports indicate that a bakkie and truck were involved in a collision.

Medics assessed the scene and found that an adult male from the bakkie had sustained moderate injuries and was mechanically entrapped.

The patient was extricated by Fire Ops SA using hydraulic tools.

Once treated and stabilised, the patient was transported by Netcare 911 ambulance to the hospital for further care.
