Two arrested for selling drugs to pupils in Randhart park

The arrest was made earlier this morning, January 20.

Two suspects have been arrested after were spotted selling drugs to pupils in a park on General Alberts Road in Randhart.

According to Tyrone van der Merwe, sales director of CPS Security, they received several calls from members of the public regarding two males who were spotted selling narcotics to school children in a park.

“Our team was sent out to investigate and confronted the two men,” he said.

Security officers found suspects in possession of drugs.

“Narcotics, zip lock bags, scales, cash etc were found in their possession,” added Tyrone.

Alberton SAPS were contacted and both men were taken into custody.
