Alleged Mandrax manufacturer remains hospitalised

The alleged Mandrax manufacturer’s case was postponed to May 4 after the accused was reported to still be hospitalised at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.

Alleged Mandrax manufacturer Thulani Mtotoba, who was again expected to appear on March 29 in Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, was reported to still be hospitalised.

Mtotoba was reported ill and had been hospitalised at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital for low blood pressure.

His matter, which had previously been postponed for a plea during his last appearance, was then moved to May 4.
The accused faces charges of manufacturing and dealing in drugs.

This was after he was arrested in what was believed to be a Mandrax manufacturing facility in his Brackendowns home in 2019.
