Newly opened MediMix to offer quality healthcare
MediMix offers top quality medical care. It was officially opened to the community recently.
New Market’s ancillary building, MediMix, officially opened its doors to the community during its ribbon-cutting occasion on the evening of May 25.
The three-floor Medimix’s healthcare facility has numerous practitioners providing top quality medical service.
The establishment of the state-of-the-art facility was made possible thanks to the partnership of Nedbank, Dr Amuah, the Mandela and the Riaan Jonker family.
The building includes a day hospital with 24 beds and a physical rehabilitation wing. Other facilities include a national renal care centre, oncology centre, radiology and specialists in biokinetics, prosthetics, dentistry and general practitioners.
It also includes pathology labs among others.
Jonker, owner and developer of the MediMix building, assured that their mission is adding health to living.
MediMix is linked to the Netcare Alberton Hospital and one can gain access from one building to the other via a walking bridge.
He reiterated that they are not involved in the operations of the Netcare Alberton Hospital.
“Netcare is an excellent company, but we believe MediMix is also a medical centre of excellence. Our building has also been designed in such a way that we have a main as well as a secondary foyer,” explained Jonker.
Manager of Netcare Alberton Hospital, Richard Mulder, congratulated those involved in the establishment of MediMix.
