Kibler Park Secondary leads the way in the Reading Relay Competition

Enhancing childrens' skill in reading

Kibler Park Secondary has set the benchmark for conducting activities in such a way that the students not only enjoy it but also learn a great deal from them.

With the same perspective in view, Grade Nine learners participated in the Reading Relay Competition that was held on August 12 at Highveld Primary School.

Seven prestigious schools from the south of Johannesburg participated in this mega competition, the Inter District Competition “Reading Relay”, which was organised by the Johannesburg South District.

Keeping with the importance of the third term, the theme was based on literature and building young minds. Kibler Park Secondary’s participants surprised all with their skills and intelligence.

“Besides being in the first position, each performance provided entertainment and food for thought for all the learners. Nobody goes undefeated all the time. If they could pick up after a crushing defeat and go on to win again, they are going to be champions someday.” – Mr Mntungwa and Miss Ngiba (GET English educators).
