Join Teddy Bear Foundation at CineCentre Killarney

Family and friends are invited to a fun-filled afternoon in order to raise much-needed funds for abused children.

Teddy Bear Foundation appeals to all its supporters to support them by purchasing a ticket to watch Lyle, Lyle Crocodile.

The community’s support will help them in continuing with the good work they do for children and their families.

“Bring the whole family and all your friends to a fun-filled afternoon and help us raise much-needed funds for our beneficiaries. While Teddy Bear Foundation continues to provide medical, forensic and therapeutic services to victims of abuse, we also strive to educate teenagers about their sexual health and reproductive rights,” explained Edzisani Luvhengo of the Teddy Bear Foundation.

Luvhengo said this helps them to differentiate between risky and protective behaviours.

They are aiming to raise R25 000 towards this project. People can also purchase a ticket to bless an orphan from Nkosi Haven with a movie experience.

“It is Teddy Bear Foundation’s mission is to minimise harm and prevent secondary victimisation to children and their families when entering the child protection system, but alone we can do so little. Through your support we can do more,” said Luvhengo.

The movie will be screened on October 28 at 15:00 in CineCentre at Killarney Mall, with a price of R150 (including a cool drink and popcorn).
