Ansie inspires audience

Women enjoy a morning of listening to the inspiring story of Ansie Kotzé.

During a recent She’s Dignity event at Lupa Osteria Meyersdal, Ansie Kotzé was a guest speaker.

On February 1, 2022, Ansie signed up for Finesse magazine’s 60-day challenge.

A total of 20 finalists, including Ansie, went for interviews to determine the top 10 New You finalists.

She then moved to the top eight and was selected for the final six. Since February 1, she has lost 26.8kg and is aiming for a weight loss of 30kg. She entered the trip with back pain, insulin resistance (diabetes type two), high cholesterol and high blood pressure.

On September 14 last year, she got her blood test results and was 100% healed. She had to work so much harder, but she did it.

“This event I believe is one of our most successful events since Fredericus and I started our She’s Dignity art therapy program. We started in 2020 at the most difficult time when Covid hit the world. With the grace of God, we managed to continue and we did 15 events in total so far,” said Laurette Marais, brand ambassador for Sans Soucis South Africa and founder

“A huge shout out to the artist Johan van Graan (Fredericus is his stage name) who inspired the women with his artwork on a wooden canvas. Each woman enjoyed playfully painting their masterpiece. They also got to choose a word that makes her heart beat again.”

As the founder of the project, Laurette does a lot of charity outreaches in the community and restores hope wherever she goes making a difference.

“If you would like to support me with pre-loved clothes, shoes, handbags or toiletries drop them off at my friend Maria Tina dos Santos who is also supporting our community at Bodylicious, Meyersdal,” Laurette concluded.
