Alberton Camera Club winning photos of April

Alberton Camera Club welcomes beginners to expert photographers.

The club meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month.

On the first Tuesday, there is normally a photo judging evening at 19:00 at the Reading Country Club and on the third Tuesday of the month, there is a shutter chat where one learns more about photography via Zoom.

The club forms part of the Southern Gauteng Region and the club is a member of the Photographic Society of SA(PSSA).
During their recent meeting, they awarded the winners for April.

April’s winners:

• The best wildlife and nature senior photo was by Robbie Aspeling (eight star) called Fishy Catch.

• Ben Botha’s photo called Beak (eight star) won the best monochrome senior photo.

• The best open colour senior photo was taken by Peter Thomas with Nick (eight star).

• The best theme senior award went to African Beauty by Robbie Aspeling (eight star).

• Trevor Trump’s photo In Flight (two star) won the best wildlife and nature junior category. He also received a two star for his photo, Sunset in the best open colour junior category.

• Louis Mouton with Beauty in the Tree received a three-star for the best theme junior category.
