Parklands High celebrates an 86.8% matric pass rate
The school’s strong pass rate highlights the dedication of both learners and educators in achieving academic excellence.

Parklands High School has proudly announced an impressive 86.8% pass rate for the Class of 2024. Out of 154 learners who wrote their final examinations, 133 successfully passed, marking a significant achievement for the school.
Learners arrived at the school to collect their matric results on January 14, displaying a mix of emotions – ranging from joy to relief – after the national results were officially announced on January 13.
Two standout achievers, Karabo Nkambuke and Camilla Dhumbu, shared their academic triumphs.
Karabo achieved six distinctions, while Camilla earned four, making their accomplishments a source of pride for the school community.
Parklands High extended heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2024 and wished them success in their future endeavours.
