Alberton Lions Club receives awards and certificates at Midrand Convention

Alberton lions Club receives five awards and two certificate at the Multi District Roar Conventional in Midrand for helping the community

The Alberton Lions Club has achieved great success at the Multi District 410 Convention held in Midrand from April 24 to 26. Board members and club members attended the event, which brought together Lions Clubs from different areas.

The Alberton Lions Club walked away with five club excellence awards. These included Lions club of the year, childhood cancer award, hunger alleviation award, social media award, and the Christmas cakes award for the greatest cake sales.

The Alberton Lions also received two certificates of appreciation. One was for the Knights of the Blind project, where the club screened over 7 000 people, and the other was for their Digital Scrapbook.

The Alberton Lions expressed gratitude to all members who contributed to this achievement.
