Three arrested for possession of drugs and stolen money
The three suspects are facing charges of drug possession and possession of suspected stolen money.
The efforts of the police in Gauteng to fight crime, especially relating to drugs, produced positive results.
Members seized drugs weighing approximately 600g, an undisclosed amount of money and arrested three suspects in a targeted operation.
The arrests took place during an intelligence-driven mission carried out in the Alberton area on the morning of January 31.
Additionally, drugs suspected to be crystal meth, weighing around 600g were confiscated.
Three suspects, including a woman, have been taken into custody and will appear before the Palm Ridge Magistrates’ Court soon.
They face charges of drug possession and possession of suspected stolen money.
