3 arrested after robbing store in Alberton

Business robberies in Gauteng continue to increase as criminals keep attacking local outlets.

CPS Security and EMPD Community Liaison Unit (CLU) recently arrested three suspects who tried to rob a local store on 7th Avenue in Alberton north.

CPS security and EMPD CLU responded to the business robbery after seeing the three suspects running out of the store premises. These suspects entered the store disguising themselves as Home Affairs officials.

All three were apprehended and found in possession of stolen cigarettes and money. They were charged with business robbery and impersonating a government official.
