CPS Security: Successful operations in Alberton over the weekend

CPS Security remains committed to protecting communities and working closely with law enforcement to combat crime effectively.

In a coordinated operation on January 18, CPS Security, along with Alberton SAPS, EMPD CLU, and Home Affairs (Immigration), successfully apprehended three suspects involved in illegal activities.

The operation was launched following reports of trucks spotted with identical number plates.

Upon investigating a property on Juyn Street in Alrode, authorities uncovered a hub of illegal operations.

Several items were seized, including multiple licence plates, fake vehicle disks and stencils and related materials.

All three suspects were arrested on-site and transported to Alberton SAPS, where they face criminal charges.

Later, on the same day, a vigilant member of the public alerted a CPS reaction officer to two suspicious men seen pushing a trolley loaded with what appeared to be stolen goods at Pieter Uys Street, Alberton.

The officer immediately requested assistance and proceeded to the scene.

Upon arrival, the suspects fled the property. One suspect was apprehended, while the other managed to escape.

Stolen goods were recovered, and Alberton SAPS was contacted to open a case of house break-in.
