Law enforcers nab 4 in Alberton North

A joint effort between private security and the SAPS led to the arrest of four people linked to a recent break-in in Alberton North.

A co-ordinated operation between CPS Security, its tactical team, and the Alberton SAPS Crime Prevention Units led to the arrest of four people linked to a recent business burglary in Alberton North on June 25.

The raid took place on Second Avenue after authorities acted on intelligence about stolen goods and criminal activity.

During the operation, law enforcers nabbed four people and found them with stolen equipment, narcotics and a firearm.

They remain in custody at the Alberton SAPS and will face multiple charges.

Authorities have urged anyone who believes they may be the rightful owner of recovered items to visit the Alberton SAPS to identify and claim their property.

CPS Security also called on the community to come forward with any additional information that could help the ongoing investigation.

The operation highlights the importance of collaboration between private security and law enforcement in tackling crime and protecting local businesses and residents.
