A housebreaking at a Brackenhurst home ended with the arrest of four suspects and the recovery of stolen property after a coordinated response by Fox Security and law enforcement on Friday.

According to Fox Security, it received an alarm activation from a residential property in Brackenhurst at about 13:18. A reaction officer was immediately dispatched to the scene, where it was confirmed that a housebreaking had occurred.

Fox Security said that while its reaction officer was responding, members of its Tactical Unit spotted a suspicious vehicle leaving the Brackenhurst area with several televisions visible inside.

“A short pursuit followed, with the assistance of law enforcement, resulting in the vehicle being stopped,” the security company said.

According to Fox Security, investigations at the scene confirmed that the vehicle was linked to the housebreaking.

All the stolen property was recovered and four suspects were arrested.

Fox Security credited the successful operation to the vigilance and teamwork of its members, as well as the support of law enforcement.

“This successful outcome is a testament to the professionalism, vigilance and teamwork of our members and our law enforcement partners,” Fox Security said.
