FOX Security arrests suspects in separate security incidents
Response teams arrested one suspect after an alleged library theft and another following an attempted break-in at a client's premises.
Fox Security response teams apprehended suspects in two separate incidents this past week, including an alleged library theft and an attempted break-in at a client’s premises.
Library theft
In the first incident, Fox Security’s control room received information about a suspect allegedly stealing from a local library.
Fox Security immediately circulated the lookout to its units, which searched the surrounding area. The suspect was subsequently located and arrested.
According to Fox Security, the suspect was found in possession of the allegedly stolen goods and was detained at Brackendowns Police Station for further investigation and processing.
Attempted break-in
In a separate incident, an alarm was activated at a Fox Security client’s premises, prompting a rapid response from a reaction officer.
Upon arrival, the officer found that the property had lost power.
A ladder had been positioned against one of the windows, and the security company said it appeared a suspect had gained access to the premises in an attempt to switch off the power.
The officer responded, and one suspect was apprehended shortly afterwards.
Fox Security praised its control room and response teams for their swift action and teamwork in both incidents.
The security company urged residents and businesses to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities or security providers.
