Alberton SAPS officers praised during lecture

Officers who continually go above and beyond in servicing the community were awarded during the station’s recent lecture.

Alberton SAPS recently conducted a station lecture aimed at imparting knowledge to the men and women in blue.

During the lecture, Alberton SAPS members also received certificates for their excellent performances when carrying out their duties.

“Warrant Officer Pheagane Phokungwane from the detectives’ office worked very well in locating a victim reported missing in Leondale and found brutally murdered in KZN. He informed the family of the deceased and they had an opportunity to bury their beloved,” explained Captain Manare Ramotshela of Alberton SAPS.

Ramotshela said the lecture focused on several topics and he believes all attendees were well-equipped.

“This also allowed members to get to know each other. The station commander was pleased with the attendance and suggested sharing the lecture with those that couldn’t attend to encourage them to attend the next station lecture,” he said.
