Join Ward 38 meeting
Councillor Thavha Maifala-Masebe urges ward residents to join him for a ward committee meeting on April 25.
The residents of Brackenhurst and Brackendowns are invited to participate in an online meeting where Clr Thavha Maifala-Masebe will discuss the proposed Integrated Development Plan (IDP)/Budget for the financial year 2023/24.
The meeting, on April 25 at 18:30, will be aired live on Facebook and Zoom.
Maifala-Masebe is giving residents a virtual platform to voice their opinions on what they want to see in the budget as part of the public consultation process.
The councillor will submit the comments from the Ward 38 residents made at the meeting so that they are considered when the budget is created.
To join the meeting on Zoom, register using the Google form or email your name, surname, address and phone number to thavha.maifala-masebe@ekuehuleni.gov.za
The meeting will be broadcast live on the “Bracken Residents Info Page” Facebook group and the “My Ward 38 Community – Brackenhurst and Brackendowns” Facebook page.
Locals can also provide suggestions on the proposed IDP/Budget by emailing their ideas to budgettips@ekurhuleni.gov.za
