Le RuMoke Modelling and Pageantry School beauties have qualified to represent South Africa at the World Imperial Beautie, which is an international-level modelling competition held in Florida from July 20 to 23.

These 11 young ladies will be boarding a plane to the USA on July 17. 6 of the 11 ladies are from LeRumoke Modelling and Pageantry School in Kibler Park.

According to Gladys Nape from the school, they were crowned nationally as winners from a bevvy of beauties in their categories (from age 4 to 50 plus) on April 5 at Soweto Theatre in Johannesburg.

“The competition, which is an American franchise, was held for the first time in South Africa. It promotes the spirit of ubuntu by promoting the notion of beauty with a purpose. The queens are ready and we are hoping to bring several crowns home.”

Sponsorship request

The beauties are fundraising to be able to participate. They must be accompanied by a guardian because they are minors and cannot travel alone.

They are seeking sponsorship to attend the international competition for dresses, hair accessories, shoes, make-up and money.

Those interested in sponsoring or supporting the competition may call Gladys on 082 378 3843.
