WATCH: The trio’s collab hit
Hitmakers ‘Sai & Ribatone’, real names Sandile Mavuso and Mahlatse Riba, collaborated with Alberton DJ and producer Nkululeko ‘Nkuly Knuckles’ Nkabinde to drop a house tune.
Mayberry Park’s Nkululeko Nkabinde ‘Nkuly Knuckles’ teamed up with ‘Sai & Ribatone’ for his single titled Illuminance, and it is available exclusively on the Knucklesprosound website for purchase.
It is an Afro-tech jam with chilled drums, beautiful chords, melodies and a striking progression guaranteed to get listeners hooked.
As he promised earlier in the year, Nkabinde continues releasing house tunes.
His recent solo EP release, Cape Breeze, was well-received by deep house fans and played on Y-FM and Metro FM.
Illuminance will only be available on major digital stores, like Amazon and Spotify, in September.

“This is a special one. I’m excited and can’t wait for the single with Sai & Ribatone to drop. They first came on to the scene with the anthem and runaway hit Sunday Showers, from the Kentphonik Album released in 2007, which had major appeal in SA and around the globe,” he explained.
In 2010, he said they remixed the hit Gardens of Eden from Home Brewed, the award-winning album by Black Coffee featuring songstress Zonke Dikana.
Sai & Ribatone released their debut album in 2011. It was a well-arranged, mixed and mastered collaboration featuring Black Coffee.
Illuminance
Illuminance was produced at Knucklesprosound Studios, where Nkabinde worked with the duo.

“We started working on this collab a year ago, and after that, it’s been a year-long battle to get it to the standard it is in now. This is definitely a different sound, and as creators, we always strive for that. It’s a unique sound with the rumbling bass effects, the smooth, simple chords, and to top it up with worldly synths that embody happiness and pleasure,” Nkabinde said.
He said it would remain a hit for some time due to its quality.
“The song has already played on Metro FM, where it was first played exclusively on the show Penthouse Sessions hosted by Lulo Café and Lamiez Holworthy-Morule. It has also received good reviews from Black Coffee,” he said.
The track will hit major digital stores on September 1 and can be pre-ordered via Traxsource.
The song is available exclusively on www.knucklesprosound.com for purchase.
