Train Kids Preschool Academy Grade R learners are school-ready
The Train Kids Preschool Academy held their Commencement Ceremony (graduations) – an occasion filled with love, fun and laughter.
Train Kids Preschool Academy celebrated their Grade R learners on December 4 at Doxa Deo Meyersdal.
After completing a school readiness assessment from the Department of Education of Gauteng, the learners were declared school-ready.
According to Leoni Boucher, principal at the preschool, they referred to the ceremony as a Commencement Ceremony as the children will now commence a new journey.

The Grade R learners performed two songs and one poem for the proud audience.
“Teacher Hanli Erasmus, who recently obtained her honours degree in educational psychology, really did a great job in getting everyone school-ready. Every child told the audience what they want to become when they are grown up,” she explained.
Giovanni de Guisti said he wants to become a daddy, Talayna Aldred said she wishes to become a ballet teacher, while Rogan Coetzee said he wanted to become a rugby player.
Anya Masindi wishes to one day become a firefighter and Tumelo Muhanganei said she wants to become a doctor.
“Future Alberton – we’ve got you sorted. A big congrats to all our Grade R parents. They have the right to feel extremely proud of their children. When they enrolled them at Train Kids they promised to help us train them up in the way they should go. Now, we know God’s promise in Proverbs 22:6 stands firm: ‘For when they are old, they will not depart from that way’,” Boucher said.
