Kenton Primary School hosts inter-school athletics tournament

Kenton Primary School hosted its annual linter-school athletics tournament at Alberton High School on February 7.

Athletes from four distinct English-medium schools competed, namely Kenton Primary, Alberton Primary, Brackenhurst Primary and Glenview Primary.

Alberton Primary won first place with a score of 194 points. Brackenhurst Primary came second with 182 points.

Host school Kenton Primary took third place with 153 points, followed by Glenview Primary with 131 points.

In a continuous relay event that concluded the day, the first age group passed the baton to the next group until all the age groups had finished a 4x100m relay.

Alberton Primary took the first position more than 25 times in this tournament.
