Albertonians to receive recognition for excellence

You are invited to enjoy an evening with Lizz Meiring and Tobie Cronjé at this year’s Cantare Community Awards.

It is a night when outstanding Alberton community members receive recognition for their services and contributions to and in the community and for excellent performances on various platforms.

Solidariteit’s Helping Hands and School Case Project will host the annual event in conjunction with the Cantare Children’s Choir Community Awards.

The event will be at the Alberton Civic Centre, Alwyn Taljaard Avenue, on March 19 from 18:30 to 20:30.

Dress is formal, and tickets, which include snacks, cost R220 per person and are available at www.cantare.org.za

The Cantare Children’s Choir, Harmonia Girls’ Choir and the Dulcet Choir will perform. Coert Grobbelaar and Lisa Katzke will also make an appearance with the choirs.

Support Helping Hands to raise funds for stationery and other necessities for underprivileged children.
