Amcare receives food donation

Amcare organisation receives 100 cans of food from SPARK Alberton school.

SPARK Alberton staff, parents and learners sacrificed their time and cleaned the local NPO Amcare.

They cleaned the organisation’s garden from weeds and washed the staff’s cars.

Not only did they get their hands dirty, but they also donated more than 100 cans of food.

SPARK Alberton received the food from the food drive they ran as part of its #beabuddynotabully Anti-Bullying Campaign.

“SPARK’s sixth core value is empowerment. We are proud to partner with an organisation that works tirelessly to empower the most vulnerable in our community,” says Sarah Mathe, SPARK Alberton School operations manager.

Amcare helps those who are needy because of poverty, HIV/Aids and domestic violence.

They provide their services to Greenfields, Alberton, Phola Park, Eden Park, and Thokoza.
