Probus has a diary packed with events

Whether it is more of a formal meeting or a social get-together, Probus Alberton always has something going on.

The second Wednesday of each month is set aside for a more formal meeting with a speaker and thereafter lunch.

These happen at the Reading Country Club, and on May 8, Carina van der Walt, the Alberton Record editor, joined them for an informal chat about the newspaper.

On May 15, about 42 club members got together for a braai at the Alberton Retirement Village. Some guests from the Germiston Probus branch joined them.

With some dancing, and lively chatter to round off the braai, all had a good time.
