The Alberton Stars Private School recently celebrated their academic top achievers and appointed new prefects for the school.

Alberton Stars Private School congratulates their new leaders for 2024/25.

The school assembled in their playground with great anticipation to announce the selection of the school’s new prefect body on May 23.

The event served as a chance to honour deserving students who had demonstrated exceptional behaviour and academic achievement throughout the academic year.

Awards certificates for various academic achievements and excellent behaviour were presented in each class to start the day.

According to the principal of the school, Lenda Muzei, there were many deserving children. Picking prefects was a challenging process, but the selection committee had done a thorough job of choosing the best of the best.

Muzei said that the selection of prefects was based on academic performance, exemplary behaviour, and good traits.

“I would like to emphasise it was not only important to excel academically but also to exhibit good character and behaviour, as these qualities would be useful in their future endeavours,” Muzei said.

“Parents, we encourage you all to continue the good work you are doing in raising your children to be responsible and well-rounded individuals,” Muzei concluded.
