Revival City Church rebrands to Transformation City Church

After many years of aiding the community, the Revival City Church changed its name to the Transformation City Church.

The newly appointed leaders of the Revival City Church in Alberton, pastor Jandre Swanepoel and his wife, Erica, and the church’s board members hosted the name-changing ceremony of the Revival City Church to the Transformation City Church.

The ceremony was on October 13 at the church’s premises in Brackenhurst.

Jandre shared the inspiration behind the name change: “We believe God’s plan for His church is not to wait, but to act. We must ‘go and do’ what he commands, and trust that God will do what only he can do.”

The new name reflects the church’s mission to transform lives through Christ’s finished work on the cross.
