Alberton SPCA partners with YapScan to enhance dog identification efforts

To ensure that furry friends are reunited with their loved ones when lost, the Alberton SPCA has joined forces with YapScan AI technology, an application program that helps individuals find their dogs when registered on the App. Individuals are urged to register asap.

The Alberton SPCA is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with YapScan, a cutting-edge app that uses AI technology to identify dogs through a simple scan of their noses.

This innovative tool is available for free to dog owners, providing an added layer of protection and facilitating the quick reunion of lost pets.

By integrating YapScan into its operations, the SPCA aims to improve the identification process for lost dogs brought to their shelter.

If dog owners have registered their pets on the app, the SPCA can reunite them with their furry companions even if they lack microchips.

YapScan has set an ambitious goal of protecting one million dogs across South Africa while raising R1 million for the SPCA.

For every dog added to the app, YapScan will donate R1 to support the shelter’s vital work.

Dog owners can easily access the app and download it for free on Apple Store or Google Play Store.

This partnership represents a significant step forward in pet safety and community support. It encourages dog owners to take advantage of this exciting technology while contributing to a worthy cause.
