Hoërskool Marais Viljoen congratulates newly appointed head leaders and top performers

Hoërskool Marais Viljoen celebrated the school’s top performers for term three and has appointed head leaders for the 2025 academic year.

Hoërskool Marais Viljoen recently inaugurated their management team for next year.

Not only did the school appoint the school’s new head leaders for the 2025 academic year, they also revealed who their top performers for the third term.

Raynhardt Kruger was appointed as head boy, Clayton Gagiano as deputy head boy, Frances-Jane Dahms as head girl, and Mignon Mentz as deputy head girl.

Committee members for girls are Thendo Singo, Hayleigh Kinnear, Kyra Fisher, and Donné Baker.

Committee members for boys are Jono Morkel, Sifiso Shongwe, Claude Do Couto, and Rio Tshimbalanga.


Highest average performers for grades nine to 12 (front to back): Kayla Zalewski, Jané du Preez, Jenna Mindszenty, Jana Smit, and Jan Potgieter.

 

The school also announced pupils who excelled academically and came out on top in their respective grades for term three.

In Grade Eight, Kayla Zalewski came out on top at 93.04%, followed by her Grade Nine counterpart, Jané du Preez with an average of 95.39% and Grade 10’s Jenna Mindszenty at 90.54%.

Jana Smit, a Grade 11 pupil managed an 89.35% average and Grade 12’s Jan Potgieter at 92.97%.
