Diamond Dance Academy hosts Christmas Festival in aid of Stepping Stone
Come and enjoy a magical evening of dance while supporting a worthy cause as Diamond Dance Academy hosts their Christmas Festival in aid of Stepping Stone Hospice on November 29.
The community is warmly invited to an evening filled with rhythm and joy as Diamond Dance Academy presents its annual Christmas dance festival.
The benefit concert which aims to support the vital services provided by Stepping Stone Hospice, will take place on November 29 from 16:00 to 20:00 at NG Oos Gemeente, located on Bergh Road, Alberton North.
Hosted by Lynn Botha, the owner of Diamond Dance Academy in New Redruth, the festival will feature a stunning array of performances by the talented Dickies Pantsula Group and their dedicated students.
Attendees can expect a diverse showcase of dance styles including ballroom, ballet, hip-hop, lyrical, acro, contemporary, and more. Notably, Marius Pieterse, the president of the National Dance Society of South Africa, will also attend.
This family-friendly event promises to be entertaining and heartwarming, with parents even getting in on the action by showcasing their dance skills. Attendees can also look forward to delicious refreshments that are available for purchase throughout the evening.
Secure parking will be provided for guests, ensuring a stress-free experience. Entrance to the festival is R100 per person, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to support Stepping Stone Palliative Care Services. Tickets will be available for purchase at the entrance.
Lynn Botha expressed her excitement for the event, stating, “This will be a massive event which promises much fun for both young and old. We plan on making this event much bigger than last year’s one. And we invite the community to attend in their numbers. Thankfully, Shannon du Plooy of S2 Artistry has generously sponsored our event.”
She also encourages attendees to bring along preloved items, financial donations, and non-perishable food items to help support Stepping Stone Hospice.
