Place of Purpose expresses gratitude to its valued partners

The event highlighted the organisation's commitment to building strong relationships with their partners and celebrating the collective impact of their efforts.

Place of Purpose hosted an appreciation tea, a heartwarming event to thank the numerous donors who have supported them throughout the year.

Gwen Mckechnie, director of Place of Purpose, emphasised the significance of these partnerships: “Sometimes we do not have to ask; they come to us asking, ‘How can we help? ‘This is where our deepest appreciation comes from.”

Warmth and camaraderie marked the event, with guests enjoying refreshments, including drinks, coffee, delicious cupcakes, chicken, and sausage rolls. Each guest received a thoughtful gift.

To show their appreciation, Place of Purpose also presented certificates to the representatives from the organisations, including Stepping Stone Hospice, School of Transformation, Flender South Africa, LOTS Alberton NPC and PBO and VE Automation (Pty) Ltd.

Through this appreciation tea, the Place of Purpose reaffirmed the importance of collaboration and community support.
