Figures Alberton dominates Global Student Model of the Year

Seven models from Figures Alberton scooped impressive haul of awards at the Global Student Model of the Year in Roodepoort.

The Global Student Model of the Year competition, held at the Roodepoort Youth Theatre, saw Figures Alberton take centre stage with an impressive array of winners.

The competition, which drew over 500 contestants from various age categories, featured participants from Figures branches across Gauteng, Kwa-Zulu Natal, the Western Cape, and Namibia.

Figures Alberton, operating since 1986 as the head office branch of the Figures Franchise, boasts an impressive track record of nurturing talent.

 

The franchise focuses on etiquette, self-esteem, poise, appearance, and self-confidence, all contributing to stage personality and performance.

The recent competition saw Figures Alberton take home an impressive haul of awards, including:

• Carla de Beer: Girls 13-15 first runner-up commercial division

• Madison Waldeck: Girls 16 and older first runner-up fashion division

• Octavia Kleynhans: Couture Model winner, taking home R10 000 in cash

• Chanelle Smit: Girls 10-12 first runner-up skills division

• Amber Olivier: Girls 10-12 winner skills division

• Skyler Beukes: Girls 10-12 second runner-up skills division

• Micah Kearns: Girls 10-12 winner commercial division

Notably, Figures Alberton made history by sweeping all three places in the Girls 10-12 skills division, a first in the Model of the Year history.
