A heart-warming Christmas party for Resthaven

Mall of the South brings joy to residents of Resthaven with a festive Christmas party and generous donations.

Mall of the South hosted a memorable Christmas party for residents of Resthaven, a non-profit organisation that provides housing and care for widows and orphans in need.

The event, held at Resthaven Ministries in Rosettenville on December 21, was made possible through the generosity of various sponsors.

Sixteen elders, 17 children, their caretakers, and volunteers enjoyed a festive feast and a day filled with joy, laughter, and togetherness. The event was more than just a celebration; it was a testament to the power of community collaboration and kindness.

In addition to the festivities, Mall of the South donated solar panels and an inverter to Resthaven, marking a significant step toward sustainable energy solutions for the home. Tops Gates and Security Technology also donated a new gate motor, enhancing the safety and security of the premises.

Mall of the South’s commitment to giving back to the community is evident in its partnership with the SOJO Helping Hands Foundation. Throughout the year, the mall has supported those in need, reinforcing its role as a community cornerstone.
