Real estate agency leads park clean-up to revitalise Verwoerdpark
Rawson Properties brought together locals to refresh Verwoerdpark, creating a safer, cleaner space for families.
With community spirit, Rawson Properties organised a park clean-up to revitalise the green space.
This effort, which brought together staff, volunteers and residents, helped transform the park into a cleaner, safer, and more inviting environment.
The Rawson Properties team and community members worked side by side, mowing the grass, trimming overgrown areas and tidying up the space.
Armed with lawnmowers, trimmers and a shared goal, the group enhanced the park’s natural beauty, ensuring it remains a welcoming place for families and residents.
“We are proud to be part of a community that values collaboration and care. Maintaining the park is one of the ways we can give back to Verwoerdpark and contribute to making it a better space for all who live here,” said the spokesperson for Rawson Properties, Jason Simeonides.
The park, a central gathering spot for families, has been significantly improved thanks to the initiative.
Parents appreciated the refreshed space, noting how it is a safer environment for their children.
Residents were also grateful, with many remarking on the clean-up’s positive impact on the neighbourhood.
“It’s inspiring to see a company take the lead in such a meaningful way. This initiative encourages all of us to take pride in our community and shows how much we can achieve when we work together,” said Sarah Jacobs, a resident of Verwoerdpark.
The success of the clean-up is an example of how small, thoughtful actions can create lasting change. It is also a reminder that community involvement can come from businesses and residents.
