The supergroup is composed of DopeFlop, Sbala.K (also known as Kruna), Rashid Kay, Jabu Ndlaviini, Spijo Makanvas, Muz Mocka, and Sannza Gold.

The group’s in-house producer, Emmortalbeats from Welkom in the Free State, has been pivotal in shaping their sound.

Furthermore, he said that alongside him, DJ Rough SA, a fellow Thokoza native, handles all the mixing, recording, and mastering. Together, they’ve created a production environment that feels both authentic and cutting-edge.

The buzz around 1426 began with the release of their singles Straight Everest Remix and Thokoza Anthem 2.0 both of which were well-received by fans and critics alike.
