Alberview Primary School donates animal food to the Alberton SPCA

The monthly donations from Alberview Primary School play a significant role in supporting the SPCA's efforts.

Alberview Primary School demonstrated its commitment to giving back to the community on February 3 with a generous donation of canned food to the Alberton SPCA.

This donation is part of the school’s monthly civvies day initiative. On civvies day, students are encouraged to contribute by paying a small fee.

However, for those who cannot afford to pay, the school offers an alternative – donating canned food.

The school collects all the donated food and gives it to local animal shelters in need. The Alberton SPCA took to Facebook to express their gratitude for the donation.

“A huge thank you to Alberview Primary for their lovely donation. Without you and the public, these animals wouldn’t be able to be fed and cared for properly,” read the post.

The Alberton SPCA relies heavily on donations from the public to continue providing essential care and services to animals in need.

People interested in donating to the organisation can contact Alberton SPCA at 011 907 1568.
