WATCH: La Vita Tou Kafe hosts successful charity market for Animal Protection Network

Attendees shopped for Valentine’s goodies, enjoyed delicious treats, and met adorable animals.

La Vita Tou Kafe hosted its second market on February 8, at 203 Dephinium Street in Brackenhurst from 09:00 to 13:00.

The event was a heartfelt initiative by Despina Kandralidis and her husband Chris to support the Animal Protection Network (APN) and its tireless efforts to care for stray and unwanted animals.

La Vita Tou Kafe raised R4 040 for APN by doing a raffle for them.

The charity market aimed to raise awareness and gather food donations for the furbabies under APN’s care.

Attendees enjoyed a variety of offerings, including Valentine’s goodies and book sales by Animal Protection Network, boerewors rolls sold by CPF and much more.

Local vendors sold an array of products from pregos, sauces, cakes, and biscuits to biltong, jewellery, keyrings and artwork.

The La Vita Tou Kafe had people queuing for its popular coffee, smoothies, iced coffee, granitas, and frappes, while also offering Greek and Italian Cuisine.

According to Despina, the event was a resounding success.

“The event was a success because it brought everyone together in support of all furbabies. At La Vita Tou Kafe, our motto is ‘We are the voice of the voiceless’ – and we’re giving back to all furbabies that need help and care,” said Despina.
