WATCH: Stepping Stone Hospice staff celebrate Valentine’s Day

Stepping Stone Hospice staff showed their Valentine's Day spirit by wearing red and spreading love and kindness throughout the adult In-Patient Unit in New Market.

Stepping Stone Palliative Care Services staff members brought a splash of colour and joy to their workplace on Valentine’s Day, donning red attire to celebrate the day of love and kindness.

The staff, who are dedicated to providing comfort and care to patients and their families, took a moment to shine the spotlight on themselves and spread some love and cheer.

The staff’s bright and beautiful creative outfits added a cheerful touch to the usual hospice uniform.

“It was a small gesture, but it brought so much joy to our families and to each other. We’re always focused on caring for others, so it’s lovely to take a moment to celebrate ourselves and the love we have for our work. It was a reminder that love and kindness are at the heart of everything we do,” said Tersia Burger, Stepping Stone Hospice founder and CEO.

The celebration was a morale booster for the staff who work tirelessly to provide compassionate care to those in need.

Tersia said the hospice staff’s Valentine’s Day celebration was a heart-warming display of the love and dedication they bring to their work every day.
