Meyersdal school hosts fun-filled Bike-A-Thon

Students enjoy a day of cycling and excitement.

Junior Colleges Meyersdal’s annual Bike-A-Thon was a resounding success, bringing together learners, teachers and families for a day of fun and fitness.

With their bicycles in tow, learners eagerly took to the track, showcasing their enthusiasm and determination as they pedalled lap after lap.

Excitement filled the air as children of all ages participated, some speeding ahead with confidence while others took their time, enjoying the ride with friends. Teachers and parents cheered from the sidelines, offering encouragement and support throughout the event.

The school’s playground and sports field transformed into a lively cycling circuit, creating an atmosphere of joy and teamwork.

“The energy was amazing The students had such a great time riding their bikes, and it was heartwarming to see everyone come together,” said teacher Marencha Digovich.

The Bike-A-Thon was not only an opportunity for learners to show off their cycling skills but also a great way to promote physical activity and outdoor fun.

As the event wrapped up, tired but happy learners left with big smiles, cherishing the memories of a wonderful day spent on wheels. The Bike-A-Thon continues to be a highlight of the school year, and everyone is already looking forward to the next one.
