Alberton SPCA urgently appeals for dog blanket donations
Kennel dogs face cold nights as storeroom runs low — community asked to donate clean, unwanted blankets.
With the sudden onset of colder weather, the Alberton SPCA is in dire need of blankets for their kennel dogs.
Their blanket storeroom is almost empty, and they are appealing to the community to please donate unwanted and clean blankets.
At present, they have enough to keep the cats in their care warm, but dog blankets are just about to run out.
Drop-offs can be made to the SPCA Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 16:30 and on Saturdays between 08:00 and 12:00 at the Lincoln Road, General Alberts Park.
