Community digs deep at Alberton Crossing fundraiser for Stepping Stone Hospice
Stepping Stone Hospice thanked the community for making the fundraiser a success in support of children facing life-limiting illnesses.
Locals came in numbers to McDonald’s Alberton Crossing on May 4 to turn a meal into a moment of meaningful giving.
From 14:00 to 17:00, 10% of all sales made at a marked till were donated to Stepping Stone Hospice for children battling life-limiting illnesses.

The Hospice children’s unit mascot, Victor, also made an appearance.
To support this initiative, families, friends and supporters had to buy a share box or any large meal and McCafe treats.

All proceeds will support Stepping Stone Hospice’s vital work in providing palliative care and emotional support to young patients and their families.
