Laerskool President Steyn holds cross-country training

Learners and teachers from Laerskool President Steyn braved the chilly morning for fun physical activity when they held a cross-country training session.

The training was on May 6 at the school. Learners and teachers started the session with warm-up exercises such as fast-paced walks and prisoner squats.

The training session allowed learners to have fun while doing a physical activity.

To end the session, the learners and teachers were lucky to get a photo opportunity just as the sunrise was emerging.

“The Steyne’s cross-country athletes have been training hard early in the morning. We are proud of you,” said Laerskool President Steyn in a statement.
