Brackenhurst Primary students visit Resthaven Ministries

Residents were treated to marshmallow Easter eggs and a show.

Brackenhurst Primary students and their teachers visited Resthaven Ministries in Rosettenville as part of an Easter initiative.

The Grade Seven learners brought Easter eggs and a lot of cheer for the residents of Camilia and David House.

The learners performed for the residents with a group poem about the significance of Easter and a rendition of the song, If you’re happy and you know it, among others.

Pastor Neil Williams of Camellia House outlined the appreciation of everyone at the home.

“The visits we get always brighten up our lives. The children and elderly at the home look forward to these visits and interactions. We thank the learners, their teachers and the school,” said Williams.
