Creative Academy celebrates 10 years of excellence

Creative Academy celebrates its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of educational excellence and growth.

Since opening its doors with 12 children on February 2, 2015, Creative Academy has flourished.

Over the past decade, it has expanded to include four schools, three preschools, a DBE-registered private primary school, a therapy centre known as The Synergy Centre, and a vibrant cafe, the Café@Creative.

Family is the driving force. Carol Mostert, Dirk Mostert, Jenna and Carel Axsel, Carel Axsel senior.

The anniversary festivities began at their flagship, the 9 Hennie Alberts Street campus, with a lively ‘tutus and bow ties’ themed school party.

The staff and children enjoyed a day packed with fun, from jumping castles and water slides to delicious treats.

Long service awards went to Carel Axsel, Patience Mpofu, Princess Khanye, Porcia Modise, Nonhlanhla Thela and Stella Mgushelo.

On March 29, the celebrations continued with a birthday bash, as staff, friends, family, and cherished guests, including the first parents from 2015 and the dedicated architects and builders who helped make Creative Academy a reality, gathered for an evening filled with laughter, dancing, shared memories, and looking back at the Creative Academy’s milestones and achievements over the past decade.
