Buzz of activity celebrates World Bee Day

Dressed in black and yellow, the little ones eagerly learned about bees’ importance.

Plaasdorp Pre-Primêr en Babasentrum celebrated World Bee Day on May 20.

The little ones wore cute black and yellow outfits, and some even had costumes made for this special day. “We are so grateful to our parents for all their efforts,” said Simoné Goosen, the owner and principal.

“As we celebrate the importance of World Bee Day, we would like to foster an awareness of the importance of bees in our world. These little insects play such a crucial role in Mother Nature, and we, as humans, should protect them and not harm them.
