From pain to purpose: Alberton author finds beauty in brokenness

Alberton resident Thembi Sambo has released a deeply personal and inspiring book, Beauty from Brokenness.

Alberton resident Thembi Sambo has published her new book titled Beauty from Brokenness.

Described as a heart-to-heart conversation, the book explores navigating life’s challenges, finding hope in darkness, and discovering God’s love and redemption.

Sambo said the inspiration for her book came from her own life experiences and a deep awareness of God’s faithfulness throughout her journey.

“My journey has been marked by brokenness, but through it, I’ve discovered beauty and redemption,” she said.
For her, writing the book was not only a creative process but also a deeply healing one.

“It allowed me to confront my pain, find closure, revisit past childhood hurts and failures, and see the love of God,” she shared.

Although some sections of the book are highly personal, Sambo said she chose to share them in the hope that they would help others.

The book is written for those who are broken, battered, or bruised, who have experienced pain, and who are seeking hope and healing, including entrepreneurs who have faced setbacks.

She also offered a message to anyone feeling broken: that brokenness can lead to beauty, and that God’s love can redeem any situation.

“Hold on to hope; your beauty will emerge from the ashes. Don’t lose hope, because hope is the substance of things hoped for,” she said.
