The learners had to research topics about healthy habits and body systems. They also planned how to construct their projects and what resources to use.

After gathering materials such as cupboard boxes, they independently assembled their life-sized bodies. The project aimed to teach learners research skills, investigation, construction, presentation, and self-assessment.

Commenting on the project, Creative Academy Preparatory School principal Tyla-Jade Botha said: “Each child’s unique project reflects their curiosity about their amazing bodies and their growing confidence as learners. The dedication, effort, and pride they showed throughout this process have been truly inspiring to witness. We are so proud of our Grade ones.”
