Young scientists shine at science fair

The Grade 0 learners of Junior Colleges Meyersdal proved that a love for science has no age limit as they proudly showcased their creativity and curiosity at the school’s annual science fair.

The event was a vibrant display of budding scientific minds at work. Tables brimmed with colourful experiments, interactive displays, and imaginative models, all created with the help of enthusiastic parents and teachers. Every project reflected the learners’ joy of discovery.

Parents were invited to walk through the exhibits, where the young scientists eagerly explained their projects.

It was a delightful mix of adorable confidence and genuine scientific thinking, as learners shared what they had learned and demonstrated their experiments.

Principal Dr Elriza Riddle expressed pride in the learners’ achievements, saying: “Events like these inspire children to ask questions, explore ideas, and discover how things work. The science fair is about planting the seeds of curiosity that will grow for years to come.”
