Meyersdal-based Plato Plaas Toe (PPT) recently marked a year since its formation.
The health and wellness group was formed on August 22, 2024, and has grown steadily since then.
To mark the day, PPT runners started by doing what they do best – walking and running.
PPT members met at their usual time at 04:40, where they chose between the 4km, 6km, or 10km run, or a walk.

PPT members experienced good times, like when they wore pink to raise breast cancer awareness, and not so good and sad ones when a member, Lisa Alves, was killed in a hit-and-run incident on May 10 while running with friends.
Through the good and bad times, PPT has remained united. To celebrate, members gathered at Plato Coffee at the Blue Crane Ridge Shopping Centre on Blue Crane Drive and Loerie Street, Meyersdal.
A stage was set up to address members, followed by party popping and cake serving.
