Creative Academy learners enjoyed an adventure at the Wits University Digital Dome.

The grades RR to three learners went on a fascinating journey through the stars, learning about constellations and exploring how physics works in a fun, age-appropriate, and interactive way.

Ryan Wilson could not keep the awe of the moment to himself.

The show, 3…2…1… Lift Off!, ignited their curiosity about the universe.

With 174 learners, 26 teachers, and four buses in convoy, everything ran smoothly and safely from beginning to end.

Little Bomi Mavume is clearly exciting about the trip.

“We are proud of how well-behaved and enthusiastic our children were throughout the trip. It was a day full of learning, laughter and inspiration,” said principal Tyla-Jade Botha.

Curiosity is the engine to achievement, and at Creative Academy, every opportunity is used to enhance intrigue and foster creativity. What better way than taking our learners on an outing that felt like they were in space?” she said.
